the Lyon's Den

In the Lyon's Den was the name of my column when I started in the newspaper business in Midland, ON in September 1989, and it followed me to Kindersley, SK and then Dawson Creek, BC.

This website contains some new stuff, and some old stuff. Actually a lot of old stuff - including clippings that are three decades old.  

I was fortunate to be able to tell the stories of many people during my journalism career. Some were famous; others not so much. But they were all interesting. I hope this site, and the clippings that I am posting, bring back some memories.
